In just 2.5 hours, a vortex of incredible music performances took place.  Common Deer kicked off the party with their tune Mistakes and a cover of Bran Van 3000's Drinkin' in LA. Iskwé teamed up with Wolf Saga to perform their songWalls. Kellylee Evans & Nuela Charles teamed up for a rousing and soulful version of Serena Ryder's Stompa. Terra Lightfoot performed her song Stars over Dakota and then joined Jim Cuddy for an inspired version of Blue Rodeo's 'Til I Am Myself Again. Jim Cuddy continued on with Where You Gonna Run? Country music star Tim Hicks played his hit Forever Rebels, Scott Helman played his pop hit PDA and Cadence Weapon threw down his song My Crew


The Weather Station's Tamara Lindeman joined forces with Sarah Harmer for a beautiful rendition of Leonard Cohen's Bird on a Wirefollowed by Leif Vollebekk joining the stage for a rendition of Gordon Lightfoot's If You Could Read My Mind. Meghan Patrick started off Bruce Cockburn's Lovers In a Dangerous Time andSteven Page surprised the audience joining her mid-song. The night kicked into high gear as Kevin Fox and Craig Northey (Odds) joined the stage. The entire room erupted in a singalong of Barenaked Ladies' hit Brian Wilson followed by It's All Been Done.  

Iconic west coast rappers Rascalz paired up with Cadence Weapon for their 1999 hit Top of the World. Northern Touch stormed the stage sparking a furious energy in the room. 

Keeping on the throwback tip, Vancouver's Nick Gilder brought out Jasmyn Burke from Weaves with Limblifter's Ryan Dahle and they brought the house down with a new version of his 1978 number one hit Hot Child In the City. Ryan Dahle also led his hit Ariel v Lotus. 


Vancouver's Louise Burns owned the stage with a cover of Rough Trade's High School Confidential. Jasmyn Burke from Weaves raged and paid tribute to Vancouver hardcore with Joe "Shithead" Keithley from D.O.A.'s The Prisoner.  The finale of the evening saw Swollen Members with Kellylee Evans on their hit Lady Venom followed by an all room Canadiana explosion to Maestro Fresh Wes' Let Your Backbone Slide.

The intimate invite-only event took place as the official afterparty to the 2018 JUNO weekend at Canada’s Premier Entertainment Resort Destination, Parq Vancouver and was hosted by CBC Radio One q’s Tom Power, with special appearances by CBC personalities Raina DourisJarrett MartineauJulie NesrallahAmanda ParrisStephen Quinn and Odario Williams.
