"SSR" (Superficial Sexual Ritual), calls attention to the naivety we've all allowed ourselves to get carried away with when we hold on to the hope of an idealized outcome.
No one likes to feel rejected. You can end up finding yourself in a playful yet harmful dance of doing too much to try to prove why you are worthy and end up disregarding your own dignity in the midst of it all.
